KawaiiScenes (kawaiiscenes.com) is a free, browser-based ambient scene viewer. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. Analytics — Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), loaded via Google Tag Manager container GTM-TFX7NSDS. GA4 collects anonymised data about page views, session duration, and broad geographic region. No personally identifiable information (PII) is sent to Google. Data is retained for 14 months per Google's default settings. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

2. Session Recording — Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymised heatmaps and session replays to understand how visitors use the site. Clarity may capture mouse movements, clicks, and scroll depth. No passwords or payment info are ever recorded. Microsoft acts as a data processor. You may opt out of Clarity by visiting clarity.microsoft.com/opt-out.

3. Waitlist — Currently Inactive

KawaiiScenes does not currently collect waitlist email addresses through the site. The waitlist form is temporarily disabled, so no new waitlist submissions are being accepted from the live product right now.

If the waitlist returns later, this policy will be updated before collection resumes, including the storage, bot-protection, and deletion details for that form.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

KawaiiScenes itself sets no tracking cookies. Analytics tools (GA4, Clarity) may set their own first- or third-party cookies as described in their respective privacy policies. We use sessionStorage only for lightweight on-device interface state — this data never leaves your browser.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

If you previously joined the waitlist during an earlier testing phase, you may still request deletion of that email data at any time. To do so, email us at:

6. Children's Privacy

KawaiiScenes is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance.
